Welcome to the Writer's Club! Here is a place that you join so that you can review and write more, and where you can also get reviews for your own works. There are no limits as to who can join, but, if one wants to enter the monthly contests, than I ask that he/she agrees to the following terms:

-You write at least four reviews in one month, for this club. The only exception would be if you are a member of the ECC or SSCC, then three of your four reviews may be done there instead, but one must be made for the Writer's Club.

Furthermore, said reviews must be well-written reviews, and not only a couple sentences. For help on writing reviews, go
.

The first contest will be posted later today, and I'll link to it here. A list of past contests will also be linked to here.

The Library of works to review is here. Remember, at least one review a month must be of one of the stories in that entry. The only exception to all four is if you're a member of the ECC or SSCC, in which case three of the four reviews may be made for those clubs rather than here.

Basically, review and you shall receive reviews. This is for people to get reviews and to start writing more.

I'm open to any suggestions, and if you could please start posting your stories in the Library topic, that'd be great so that people can start reviewing. Below is a list of current members [i've only added Takuta-Nui, so if you'd like to join, please post here]:

Curators:

-Toa Velox

Members:

-Takuta-Nui

-Lady Kopaka

-Kiotu

- -Zaxvo-

-Necro

-Toa Spirit

-Snoop Da Whoop

That's about it . . . post any suggestions here, or if you want to join you can also post here.

I have a question;

Are the stories that the people of this club review all stories written by other members of this club? What sorts of stories can we write if we join this club [short stories, epics, poems, comedies, etc...]? Do the stories have to be BIONICLE related all the time, or only when specified? Also, if something comes up during the month [Like if I join and out of nowhere ten RPGs pop up/a school project keeps me from stories] then would I still be required to review the four a month, or could I possibly get some leeway and perhaps make up missed reviews during another month [such as Summer Vacation/Spring break/Winter break, etc...]

Thanks for reading through my questions. I don't know if I'll join or not, but whether I decide to mainly depends on what kinds of answers are given to the above.

1) Yes. It's a "review and you get reviews" type of thing, so you join if you want reviews and are willing to give reviews yourself. Which reminds me, I need to add something: Reviews must be good reviews, and not just a few sentences.

2) Any stories are fine.

3) As for non-BIONICLE related stories, I'm not really sure, yet. For now I'll say only BIONICLE-related stories [and the contests will most likely be only for BIONICLE-related things], but I may change that later if enough people want it.

4) The only reason I'd allow that would be if you PM me with a good reason. Even then, one review for the club shouldn't be too hard, so even with a reason at least one review. Unless something major IRL comes up, but I can't really think of anything. =P

Alright, thanks. I may look into this a bit more, but I'm not completely joining yet.

Hm...I am thinking about maybe joining this club here. Although before I put anything into writing here that I will joined, I feel it is necessary to ask some questions first, so I have a good idea on what I am getting myself into here.

For starters, will the members needed to be extremely active in the Library Forums with their writing? Just wondering as due to having to run the RPG (Bionicle Kingdoms), I have little time to spend working on my own writings for the forums (Which is why certain epics of mines are at a standstill in the writing progress. I hope to return to them in the future.). I do have time to make the required amount of reviews for the club, so you shouldn't have to worried that my responsibilities for the RPG getting in the way of my responsibilities here.

My last question is this: Will we be required to list works of ours to review? Like I say above, I been out of the loop in the literature business since Bionicle Kingdoms start up, so most of my works will be pretty old and probably be best left alone until I decide to return to them. And if I were to include any of my works here, I probably choose ones that I will enter into your writing contests as they be more recent.

No, it isn't necessary. Especially if you're an RPG player, I know you still write frequently for the RPG. As long as you do your reviews a month, everything's fine. Though, technically, you only have to do the reviews if you want to join the contests, but I ask that you complete the reviews anyway.

You don't have to, no.

I'll join; I may not be able to do my reviews during late-October/Early November, because I have my finals then.

Four reviews in a month, hoo-boy...what the heck though, my job isn't full-time so I have enough free time, I suppose I'll try it this month and see where it goes, count me in.

If you guys think about it, four reviews are not that much. Basically, one a week, and it doesn't have to be long, when referring to it as a review. A nice size comment is usually around or more than 100 words.
