Only one word describes her: Awkward.

 

I don't really see how she's seen as proportionate, either. The torso is too short, and the arms seem to be too long. Then there's the torso itself that's just awkward. And then the helmet. It looks pretty cool, but not feminine -- less so than the Kaukau Olda and Faxon. Her double-sided trident is odder than just a single one with an extended pole [not that I'm complaining, as that is a lovely weapon]. And then her armor. I half like it and half don't like it. I think it's a little too long, and doesn't cover enough of the front, nor the inside of the legs/arms [where especially on the legs you can just tell how empty one side is]. Red pins are horrible.

 

But anyway, she's not bad. I really wish she came with two light blue Vahki leg pieces, but alas that is not the case. I almost wish those double-socket connector pieces would be normal ones, as it'd be nice to have those in light blue, but the holes on the side are kinda nice at the same time. Just not many armor pieces to use with that -- I'll have to experiment.

 

But overall I like her [though not as much as Gelu -- which reminds me, I like him far better than when I last mentioned him]. The last Legend I'll get is Mata Nui, which I'll have to order online.

 

So those are just a couple notes I'm throwing out there in a hurry as I gotta go right now. I may end up liking her more later, but yeah.

I already have Thok, but I want four, and I'd rather not get Strakk. At least, not at the moment, as I have other things I'd like first...

 

 

And I was going to say some more things I like about Kiina, as well as some other random thoughts, but I'll do that another blog entry.

Strakk looks great, IMO. He's my favorite Glatorian... but then, Kiina is my third favorite (after Stronius), so my opinion obviously differs from yours.

Yeah I got Kiina, not too big a fan, really. Stronius and Gelu are definitely better. Infact, so are Ackar and Mata Nui. Maybe even Vastus.

 

Still, an original torso is a good thing, I suppose.

I didn't like Kiina's emptiness at first, but now I've found a pose which hides this and is pretty epic at the same. The proportions on her aren't the best but she's overall a likable set.

I had no idea about this whatsoever but I thought you'd like to know :)

 

Oh, and personally, I think Kiina's pretty sweet. Stronius IMO is the best legends, then Kiina, and then Mata Nui. Next we have Ackar, then Gelu (who's behind Ackar only because of the ankle armor and the sword; all the legends are, IMO, really great, except for Vastus), and Vastus come last. he just looks really bad.
