Lego, this billion-dollar company, needs to:

 

--get better security. They've got the money, so why is Barney Fife the lone night watchman in charge of guarding their Research and Developement room?

 

--write a memo to the site designers that maybe, MAYBE it might not be a good idea to put pics of your future products up for the whole internet to see on your OWN server! This is especially true when you have an ambassador or employee go writing to websites who post them essentially saying, "OMG, WHAT DID YOUR PEOPLE DO TO OBTAIN THIS FROM US!?!"...

 

--Covertly watermark buyer's catalogs and the like that you distribute, so when, 2 seconds after you give them the images for January's sets in AUGUST, you'll know exactly who the leak is because their copy of the images was a little bit different from the next guy's.

 

Of course, this is all poopoo and will never happen, for it's clear (to me anyways) that despite all their shock and horror routines, THEY do this all on purpose to keep people interested.

It's been going on for years, a couple times a year in fact... so really, do the math.

Also, no, that kinda has the side effect of being...illogical even for Bionicle and not making sense. How is it they suddenly spring into the point of advancement where they have a mars-capable shuttlecraft, which we don't yet?

Or, I dunno, don't read the news articles on the front page. I don't, and seeing Kopaka in stores was a joyous surprise to me, especially since I liked his new form, albeit not as much as his old form. This is the only year I've looked at leaked sets because the new Tahu left me broken-hearted.
