Shockwave has a british accent in G1 and Animated. He's known for being really cruel and untrustworthy. He's also a double agent.

Ah.. That does make a bit more sense.. I only really watched transformers back in the Armada days.. Had alot of the sets as well. Always was wanting to get the unicron armada model yet it never happened..

Received pronunciation? I am afraid I do not know.

BBC English, Queen's English, etc. It's basically the accent that you hear from people with power, ie the Queen or politicians, because it sounds standard, educated and authoritative. Basically posh talk.

I think Posh talk would be the accent i am referring to.

That's the one then. It's mostly prevalent in the south east these days, but it's on the decline, funnily enough. Even the Queen has been found to be developing hints of a Cockney accent.

*Smirks* Glad i could put your hard earned learning to use.. But if you ever watch the Omen (The Original) the lead male's accent is the one i like.
