>Attempt To Install Photoshop Cs6 Beta

And don't say Gimp sucks compared to Photoshop because I am quite aware of this
>Get Installation errors
>Try again
>Installer refuses to work again

WELP, back to Gimp.

Personally I prefer GIMP simply because I'm used to it.
The only thing I use Photoshop for is cutting stuff out because of the magnetic lasso, and content-aware fill.

I'd like to spend more time with Photoshop to be able to actually do things with it but I just don't have time.

Never did find my old photoshop CD. GIMP is just so foreign to me that I have trouble using it.

@HAZMAT I agree, I've grown used to Gimp's layout. Though PS makes it much easier to produce quality graphics, so I wish I could actually use it. :/

this reminds me that I still have Photoshop on one of these hard drives

I think GIMP is just simpler and just as effective. I don't have to spend 2 hours looking in a guide to figure out how to add a border to text.

Photoshop is so superior in every way, shape, and form it is not even funny. I'm saying this as someone who edits photos in CS5 often for money, and I've tried GIMP and it's equivalent tools lack the finesse or ability that CS5 has.

It is, however, amazing freeware and for non-professionals it does an amazing job.
