I have provided a list of reasons to hate the Mako.

  • You cannot romance it.

That is all.

I want to love the Mako because a bouncy tank sounds like the best thing ever but

I can barely control that thing sometimes ;o;

Maybe I'm just a terrible driver

Are you driving while dressed like this?

*Obligatory Hammerhead comment*

Hammerhead wasn't bad either! I liked all of Mass Effect's driveable vehicles, despite everyone hating them.

I gotta go to yahtzee for this one. The Mako was just weird in the physics department, but it worked. And the missions involved made the galaxy feel BIG.

Unfortunately, they were closer to Kansas than Skyrim, so it was a pain in the butt to slog through all the vast emptiness to get from place to place without anything to break up the monotony besides you flipping backwards again.

ME1's maps were really kinda bad..

They really were barren which was why I only completed a few of those missions. :/

I kinda wish ME2 or 3 had similar missions because their advanced game engines could have made those levels much more enthralling.

I generally enjoyed the Mako portions of the game during my first playthrough, despite the strange physics and its habit of flipping through the air as wildly as an alcoholic duck (or perhaps in part because of those factors).

And then I found out it cut my XP gain by half.

Haven't really enjoyed it since. Oh well.

You can always just get out and shoot things on foot, too =P

That is exactly what I have been doing, actually. Of course, driving for a few minutes, getting out, killing everything in sight, getting back into the Mako, and repeating the whole process all over again certainly gets tiring after a while.

Which is one reason I am really looking forward to this third playthrough of mine. I only need about 6,000 more XP points, so I figure I can just take it easy and use the cannon as much as I want.

Except for Thresher Maws. Somehow I enjoy fighting those on foot. XD

The Mako was too good for this sinful galaxy, and has ascended to a higher realm of existence, where physics have no hold.

Granted, it lived its life under that assumption anyways, so it's not a big change.
