And then it turns out that all the blood everyone's been donating hasn't been used to resupply people who have suffered a severe bloodloss, but instead has been used to feed an evil modern-day vampire who is actually Hippocrates and it will be the sweetest plottwist EVERRRRRR.

Plus, my Mom would never let me donate blood, as she did that in college, and blacked out afterwards.

I wish I could donate.

re JiM: I donated my first pint in about 4:27 and blacked out because of that. It's nothing too bad, you just wonder if you died for a short bit, is all.

O-positive here, donate as often as I can. Spending the first decade and half in and out of the hospital does a lot to get you over the fear of needles and get a healthy appreciation for blood donors.

I really should donate more. I've been told that there's a shortage of O+ and that because that's my blood type I should donate... but I haven't yet.

 

Next time the blood mobile is at my school maybe I'll schedule something.
