During the live airing, there were a lot of ads for this slime toy by Nickelodeon called Gak. As in, 3-4 Gak ads in a row in a single commercial break.

 

It's become a bit of a meme.

I remember that, good god were those commercials constant. What is it about slimy goo that can be played so enticing to kids that toymakers must constantly make them. Also why were 4 Gak commercials in a row?!
