That territory being Lego Digital Designer. Finally got around to downloading it! Can't wait to try it out. If I like it and get it to export properly to Maya, I might submit a LDD entry to the big contest.
NEVERMIND LDD IS SUPER WEIRD AND LIMITED I AM ABANDONING THAT SHIP RIGHT NOW
I love building with my hands so that's definitely my priority, though. Also, I'm currently working with a friend on a replica of several buildings from Diagon Alley in Maya for my animation class, so that's my 3D priority anyways. Priorities everywhere, woohoo.
My big dilemma is whether or not to dismantle my current MOCs and rebuilt sets to scrap them for parts, 'cause I've obviously put a lot of good builds and pieces to use already. I'm more interested in rebuilding old sets so I don't think I'll miss my MOCs that much, and then I can just dismantle whatever I build after the contest is over to rebuild the sets I took apart. I can just make a list of the parts I need to keep track of or something.
I immediately had this really neat idea, but I don't know how I'll do it or if it'll look good. Probably not. Still worth a try ^^
I'm really excited about this contest, I don't even care about winning it's just so fun
