I saw The Dark Knight Rises yesterday. Twice. In two different theaters. Because it's that awesome. One of the best movies ever (at least of the movies I've seen, anyway).

It was originally filmed for IMAX (or something to that effect), which allows a greater frame rate and generally clearer picture, so it's got that going for it. Plus, according to one guy who works as a projector, Bane's voice sometimes causes an imbalance or something with the bass in non-IMAX theaters.

 

I haven't had a chance to see TDKR, so I don't personally know. If you're the type to re-watch a movie multiple times while it's still in theaters, it might be a good idea to try to see it in IMAX.
