Congrats! I really respect you [and anyone else] for being able to actually finish [and a few days before the deadline!]. I hope to do it next year, but because I wasn't prepared at all [i only learned about it a few days before November], and because my computer has been acting up, I wasn't able to this year.

 

Are you going to post it on BZPower? I'd be interested in reading it, so let me know.

I don't plan to post it on BZP, no. I want to try to get it published in the future and don't want anyone to see it yet, but thanks for asking anyway. Besides, the novel is far from finished and I think it will probably be around 80k or 100k by the time it is finished, hopefully. That's what I am aiming for at the moment.

 

If you do participate in NaNoWriMo next year, knowing what you want to write certainly helps. I don't outline, but I did a lot of world building and character designing a few months prior to NaNo and had a few ideas that I wanted to put in the novel itself when I began writing it, so it sort of naturally flowed out of me as I wrote. Maybe this doesn't work for every writer, but it certainly worked (and still works) for me.
