Takanuva And Gresh

I just got Takanuva and Gresh Stars today, meaning I now have all of the 2010 sets I want (my older brother plans to pick up Nektann, Skrall, and Rahkshi for his birthday later).

Of the two, I prefer Takanuva (who is standing next to the computer right now, in fact). I like his weapons a bit more than Gresh's, since they look more natural, and his general design appeals to me a lot more than Gresh's does.

That doesn't mean I hate Gresh, though. While I think his canister counterpart is far better, Stars Gresh has a nice resemblance to his original self as well as some nice armor pieces. Cool colors, too, far more vivid than Takanuva.

Right now, my favorite of the Stars is between Tahu and Takanuva, leaning a bit towards Tahu at the moment, though Takanuva's still cool. May have to wait until we get the rest of the Stars before deciding on my favorite, though.

Personally I think Gresh is better; especially if you give him big Gresh's swords, rather than his silver. Takanuva is alright; awesome because he's Taka, and does look quite pleasing, but he'd look so much better with a gold or white Avohkii [both of those would be epic]. But, yeah, they're hard to choose... I like Tahu, Gresh, and Taka pretty much all the same.

Also, Nektann and Rahkshi are quite lovely. The Rahkshi more so, as Nektann can be slightly boring, but as you can see here he's still quite nice. Skrall is definitely my least-favorite. Not quite sure why, but he just doesn't appeal to me. Of course, though, that black Kopaka Mata sword is lovely.
