Just last night I had a dream that seemed to combine Gurren Lagann, Gundam Wing, and, believe it or not, Pokémon into one short sequence that had no context and therefore made no sense whatsoever. That, of course, is precisely what makes it a dream in the first place.

Anyway, so the dream started out with a slightly different version of the second opening to Gurren Lagann, fooling me into thinking I was actually watching the show for a while until I noticed the differences (like this little red-haired girl who has never appeared in the series but appeared in this dream opening, for example).

Then, after that was over with, the scene switched to showing Kamina from GL, Heero Yuy (sp?) from Gundam Wing, and Duo from the same anime as Heero sitting around a table in some ship whose name I do not know. I'm not sure what they were discussing, but they mentioned something about how Kittan's death was a serious blow to them or whatever. Kamina then makes some joke and Heero scolds him for not taking the situation as seriously as he should. Duo then gets up and goes over to a computer monitor. I think he was trying to show Kamina or Heero something, but again the dream made it unclear.

After Duo finishes up with that, he turns around and tells Pikachu from Pokémon to start up the engines. I guess Pikachu must be the Scotty of whatever ship they were on or something, since he seemed to understand what Duo was telling him to do and left to go do it.

But that wasn't even the weirdest part of it. The weirdest part is that Pikachu seemed to be wearing human-like legs, even though his upper body appeared to be completely normal. I cannot understand why no one thought that was weird, but then again, this dream features Kamina and Heero in the same room, so I suppose Pikachu with human legs isn't too weird a thing here.

And that is where the dream ended. I have no idea what kind of awesome adventures Kamina, Heero, Duo, and Pikachu may have gone on after that, but hopefully they'll leave my subconscious alone, at least for a while .
