As I promised, here is the preview for my upcoming epic, Dimension Hoppers, coming early 2011. It is the first four paragraphs of the prologue, so it isn't much. However, I believe it is enough to get people excited for DiH.

So, without further ado, here is the long awaited preview for Dimension Hoppers (from Isarot's point of view):

I awoke dazed and confused, wondering what had disturbed my slumber. Looking around the room for the disturbance, I could tell that it was around midnight even in my sleepy state. The window on the wall opposite me showed a dark sky lit only by the stars, shining light into my room. I could see my tomahawk, mounted on the wall where I had left it a few hours ago; my stone chest, set right underneath my weapon, where I kept a few of my personal belongings. A small light stone sat atop the chest, although it was off at the moment, since I preferred it to be as dark as possible when I am asleep.

Shaking my head, I did not notice anything out of the ordinary until my advanced hearing picked up foreign sounds coming from somewhere deep in the temple. Being a Tagiki, my hearing abilities were considerably better than that of, say, a Toa’s, which I always used to my advantage.

Despite this, I still had a bit of trouble waking up completely and getting out of bed. My mind was still tired, but I forced myself to be alert and ready. The noises I heard did not sound like Kiriah or one of the other Toa training at this ungodly hour or anything else familiar or that I was used to. Instead, it sounded like there were explosions, metal tearing through stone, and other little clues that told me one thing:

There was a thief in the temple. And I had to stop him.

Again, this isn't much, but I don't want to post too much, since the epic itself still needs to go through the editing process. Hopefully this will generate a lot of interest .
