new macbook pro

at this point I'm considering giving up on future human relationships and just marrying this computer.

it is the greatest computer I have ever owned.

if I want something done it just... does it

no fuss, no adding additional programs, no crashing, no messing about in the terminal, or anything else that goes with windows or linux. I'd almost forgotten why I loved these things all those years ago

I've loved my Macbook Pro since I got it four and a half years ago... but I think I've finally reached a point where compatibility issues with Windows software frustrates me (I want MS Access! :( ). And I'd rather not buy Parallels because that's expensive.

It's otherwise been serving me very well (barring a few early issues with AirPort) so I can't complain.

I have two windows computers so I don't have that issue, plus they frustrate me no end. this thing is just such a nice change from the endless problems and workarounds in windows and linux

I love my MacBook pro save for the fact that fan-created Lego software (like LDD2PovRay, Griddy, etc.) is almost never developed for Mac. I tried to install a Windows emulator, but the whole process involved all that messing around in the Terminal that I had been able to avoid up until then, and even after I thought I got it done right, it didn't work, and there was no easy way to troubleshoot. So I'm happier doing without than putting up with that kind of nonsense.
