Yes I did. I didn't even have to start a new game to get it.

You just do the Mystery Gift right away. Once you start the actual game, the delivery man will be in the Pokemon Center with the ticket.

Oh. So it doesn't auto-start the game like in D/P/Pt/HG/SS anymore? You have to select New Game from the menu like in the third gen? Sweeeeeet.
