Yes. Some friends suggested the idea immediately after I wrote my other Joker-themed Gaga parody, although I put off taking their advice for over a week. Ultimately it only took me a couple of hours, but with the exception of the title, all of these are my own ideas. Primarily, I intended to write a song where the Joker gives a couple of other stories for how he got his scars to emphasize the senselessness behind his mysterious background, while I also personally wanted to make a reference to Two-Face, since I couldn't possibly imagine this parody without making a pun out of his name as well. So I decided to explore their creations and tie the ideas together. In the end, it's not perfect, and I liked "Batman Dance" better, but from the standpoint of how it sounds as a pop song it's pretty good. I mean, the original lyrics had the phrase "stunning with my love-glue-gunning", which is a turn of phrase that goes absolutely nowhere, so compared to the source material I'm not at all insecure of how this parody flows.
