INTJ > INTP

Jean Valjean

:kaukau: I've given this quite some thought, since I'm endeared to both personality types. Recently, Iruini Nuva said that INTPs would rule the world from behind the curtain, but honestly, that sounds more like an INTJ. I mean, Emperor Palpatine was an INTJ, and he was the ultimate puppet master.

Anyway, INTPs get to claim Spock, which is a pretty big deal. Also, Albert Einstein and Abraham Lincoln. Probably Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes, come to think of it.

But INTJs. Wow. I looked up famous INTJs and I recognized all of the names and personas. Isaac Newton, Karl Marx, Ayn Rand, Friedrich Nietzsche, Mark Zuckerberg, Nikola Tesla, Stephen Hawking, John Nash, John Adams, Isaac Asimov, Martin Luther, Heraclitus, Jean-Paul Sartre, Vladimir Lenin, James Cameron, Christopher Nolan, (probably) George Lucas, and STANLEY FREAKING KUBRICK.

If you're an INTP, it's possible to be of average intelligence. Although rare, there are also some stupid INTPs. However, if you're an INTJ, you're pretty much guaranteed to be an insane genius. I don't know if it's possible to be an INTJ and not be smart.

Also, my opinion could change tomorrow. These personality types aren't as concrete and restricting as some people make them out to be. More on that tomorrow.

EDIT: Tomorrow has come, and darnnit, I changed my mind. I have an easier time being friends and bonding with INTPs.

You realise that the Myers-Brigg Type Indicator isn't a very good indicator of personality test, right? It's mostly nonsense and it's been heavily scrutinised and criticised by many.

My favorite description of it is "astrology for people who don't believe astrology"

I took the government standardized Myers-Briggs test for an EI workshop and I found it as useless as the Kinsey scale.

I've said almost that exact thing before, haha. The people I was talking to were slightly upset.

Also as a random comment, INTJs seem to be the most likely to both believe without any grains of salt, and to bring it up to others.

...I also suppose that's why I know that. =P
