Finally On The New Comp

IT IS AMAZING.

BZPower is like... HD, man. Whoa. Personally, though, I'm finding it a little tough in the transition between Mac and PC - I barely know how to operate some of the stuff on this computer. Meh. However, the breathtaking beauty of the graphics when I plugged in a little Age of Empires III more than made up for that. This is a change for the better.

Being on break feels really good, doesn't it? I have actual time to make my MOCs, watch 4 episodes or so of House in a day, go to movies, and more. Zero obligation, at least for this next week, is golden.

I found the transition from PC to Mac to be really easy, but I guess it's different for everyone. Then again, I'm on a laptop and you're on a... monster. :P

How'd you get AoE III on it? Do you have a Mac copy or did you use Bootcamp?

And yes... break is wonderful.

I know people love their Macs for whatever reason, but whenever I try to use one I can never get the hang of it (especially since half of my movements and transitions around on a computer are done with keyboard shortcuts).

Hope it pays off for you!

The argument that it is hard to get used to is a bit invalid after all it simply isn't a Windows computer though. That's like buying a new car, basic same functions but not all the knobs will do exactly the same thing.

It is understandable though. I worked with a Mac during an intership and it was a bit weird to get used to. However I did not see a big difference between the work I was able to do on my PC and the Mac. *shrug* Maybe my demands aren't high-end enough.

Anyway, I won't buy a Mac until I turn professional and even then I'll give it some consideration ^^

Now I'll be off to play some games...all of them :P

Enjoy your machine, it sounds darn cool. And the screen-size is something to envy :D

Do remember that it's the same thing if you try to go from Macs to PCs, after all. I'm so used to Mac keyboard shortcuts that I try to do them reflexively on Windows, and then, obviously, they don't work. Both OSes do the same things, for the most part, just in different ways.

(still love my Macs, though <3 )
