I Expect Cloud Atlas

Posted by Zatth , Oct 26 2012 · 148 views

to blow my mind in the cinema, just as the book has done. I've seen the trailer about 30 times now (talk about obsession), so I'm sure the movie will be wonderful.

We'll see.

I need to read this before I see it. Good science fiction must be read book-before-movie.

I strongly agree with the statement, but for a different reason. As you read the book, you'll no doubt be aware the movie will be different. Treat the movie as a Cloud Atlas 2.0. It isn't the book, but it accomplishes much the book can't do. I wouldn't say one is better than the other; rather, they complement one another. However, a lot of background info from the book will help to explain parts of the movie.
