Alas, Poor Norik!

I knew him, Tiribomba; a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy; he hath borne me on his back a thousand times; and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is!

The Truth About Shakespeare

Shakespeare created more than 1700 words of the modern English language. These include bedroom, barefaced, birthplace, bloodstained, coldblooded, courtship, countless, dauntless, eyeball, green-eyed, hobnob, lackluster, madcap, moonbeam, noiseless, outbreak, remorseless, and worthless.   Don't you see? He wasn't a Klingon...   ...he was a Le-Matoran!

I'm Thankful For

The Albanian alphabet! Happy Albanian alphabet day!   Oh, yeah, and nothing, too. Though I'm such sure I once did an entry on that already.

Pigeon-Guided Missiles

What ever happened to them? Are laser-guided missiles that more accurate? Couldn't millions of dollars be saved by using pigeon-guided missiles again?

Nonsequiturial

Why does my brain insist on telling that it's a word even though it clearly isn't?   And how come I hardly blog anymore? :/

R. I. P. Neil Armstrong

Archimedes 15, 38 BT - Brahe 8, 44 AT   These dates mark his lifespan on the calendar created in his honour. It is only fitting that he be remembered this way.

Bad Poetry Day

Hello, all who are coming this way, The 18th of August is Bad Poetry Day! The wonderful day that disrupts your sweet calm With horrible poems that make you facepalm. This day springs upon us all like a hawk And numbs our poor brains with the grace of a rock. But alas, this day, it draws to a close So I'd better end this ridiculous prose. (This poem is in honour of William T. Gorringe Whose name is the long-sought rhyme for orange.)
