Since I work for the Lego Store in Annapolis, I had the opportunity of working at BrickFair this year helping to run the Lego table up on the balcony. We had a bunch of this year's sets out on display, including the Rebel Blockade Runner and Fire Brigade (which release on Sept. 4th!).

I got to go check out some of the displays, including BZP's table. The staff was great to meet, there were LOTS of great models on display, all just incredible. There was so much to see that, sadly, I'm not sure I got to give everything a good enough look. But the icing on the cake was that I was able to obtain one of the prototype pieces; the gun-metal Kraahkan!

The vendors were amazing as well. I bought some "Halo" pieces from BrickForge, along with a scooter and pigs. And from other vendors I scored an Order of the Phoenix Snape minifigure, dark-blue Han Solo legs and some printed Brickfair '09 bricks and minifigure.

An extremely fun day all around!
