Takadox might be getting a body and maybe even a little animation done. idk these arent for a kit or anything; I just haven't done a lot of spriting in years and felt like getting my sprite on.
The first episode is easy. Witch Doctor escaped in the Breakout, and we never really learn HOW he was recaptured, so the first video is clearly documenting this. I think it can easily be 100% canon.
The second video is more difficult, as we see the entirety of Black Phantom's role in Breakout, so as far as partial canonization goes, I'm afraid episode 2 is squarely non-canon.
Episode three is only partially canon. It documents a small battle of the Brain Attack, but some parts (such as Bill's on-the-spot upgrade) are creative license and thus non-canon.
I feel like these videos contribute a lot to the story of Hero Factory, something that is very much missing. I think that we should make the case to Farshtey to have the movies made canon, so the story and universe get the fleshing out they deserve.
- Horned tyrannosaurs? Two-headed pterosaurs? Yes, we get it. They're robot dinosaurs, you're Michael Bay, and you get to do whatever the heck you want in the name of Rool of Cule. Whatever. It's stupid, but whatever.
- Is that flapping metal on Crosshairs or whatever? Really? Flapping metal, just to give cool "trenchcoat"? You could at least have TRIED making it conceivable.
- Is that Megatron? Again? There's only so many times you can kill him and bring him back to life before it stops being believable, you know.
- Busy, busy, busy. Everything is busy. This is nothing new to the franchise, and that just makes it even more annoying.
Ok, yes, that's probably an awful idea. Squidbuds were a ripoff of someone else's Shadow Leech signature pet that somehow took off despite me being dreadful at pixel art at the time. Mostly the point here is to show off that I don't suck at pixel art anymore.
I do still suck at mouths, though. God, those mouths are awful.
Honestly, you can make this sound like some kind of crusade for justice all you want (I'm going to hope that some of how you worded it is just meant as hyperbole to make a point, though?), but it just comes across to me as being anti-fun and anti-imagination.
There's a time and a place for joke entries to place high in a contest (actually no there really isn't but w/e), but the first site-wide BZP contest is certainly not one of those times.
The first entry offended my eyes.
Well, this was probably in the bottom 3 comics I've read in my life. Didn't make much sense, and some things were hard to read because of the coloring and font style.
