I have become THAT guy

So I was at a party a few weeks back and someone brought some cheese. I was excited because it looked very much like the Camembert cheese I had enjoyed when I spent a year in France, but when I tried some, it didn't taste quite right -- sort of dull and flavourless.

Some Internet research later revealed that the cheese served at the party was Brie cheese. Brie, as it turns out, is virtually indistinguishable from Camembert, with the exception that Camembert has more flavour.

That's when it hit me.

I have become a cheese snob.

I have become THAT guy.

Edit: Yes, the server burped when I posted this. We've all been there before, guys.

Cheese is serious business.

Also, I love Brie cheese, but I've never had Camembert. I feel like if I do, my taste buds will reach a new level of Nirvana.

I have no doubt that the wide world of cheese is wonderful and full of discovery and delciousness... but at the same time I'm perfectly content with my fake Kraft singles cheese.

Don't judge me.

I am a white dude, and I can verify that I like cheese. XP

(This is a joke, kids. Ask your parents about your ancestry. Trust me, it's interesting. ^^; ).

(Also, yes, I have looked into gender studies and feminism enough that I have become this guy. And I'm fine with that. ^^)

Wow, I'm just... way too sappy for my own good right now. >>;

Okay, coming to my senses. Sorry for the sap.

Smoked Gouda is...

What's your take on Venezuelan Beaver cheese?

IMO, I generally just like cheddar, but it has to be Tilamook.

^ Tillamook ftw.

But otherwise, I am also a small-time cheese snob, in that I hate the fancy goat cheeses and whatnot. Block of smoky cheddar, some Colby, good provolone if you can find some, so on and so forth.

I also don't drink wine, so it's basically whatever for me.
