Creeping In My Soul Version 2

Posted by HAZMAT , in Music Nov 30 2009 · 95 views

Am I the only one who like the first version better?
Everyone seems to be "ZOMG this new version is so much better than the old one!"
And I, personally, think the new version is very bad. The vocals are worse, the music is worse, the whole thing is worse.

Oh My...

Them Crooked Vultures made their ENTIRE upcoming album available to listen to online.

I've only heard 5 songs so far, but I am in love. style_emoticons/default/wub.gif

Probot was a heavy metal side project of ex-Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters lead-singer Dave Grohl. An album was recorded out of the material and released in February 2004.
On the album, Grohl teamed up with heavy metal vocalists from 1980s and 1990s bands who influenced his musical tastes while he was growing up. Similar to 1995's Foo Fighters, Grohl wrote all of the music and performed most of the instrumentation. Each track on the album features a different lead singer including Lemmy, Max Cavalera and King Diamond.

I got the Probot CD today! =D
I'm listening to it right now.

There's A Concert I Wanna Go To

Posted by HAZMAT , in Music Oct 02 2009 · 71 views

It's the 10th of this month.
They're metalcore bands. I am a scrawny, lanky, nerdy lookin' guy. I would not survive anything more hardcore than an Elton John concert. style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif

Seriously though, it seems awesome.
August Burns Red
MyChildren MyBride
Impending Doom
The Acacia Strain

I have never heard of the latter two, but I love ABR, and what I've heard of MCMB.

Also, in December, there's another concert I'd like to go to.
August Burns Red

I love all 3 of those bands. style_emoticons/default/wub.gif

I really wanna go to both. Only problem, besides the aforementioned one, is getting a ride there. It's like 2+ hours away from where I live. Also, money. I have, like, 70 bucks. That's enough for tickets, but that leaves me with barely anything left then.

So, yeah. I have no idea what's going on, but my friend Josh really wants to go, as do I.
