Well, personally, I'm not really confident with writing under the pressure of compitition and

deadlines and all that, but I think that the idea is ingenious and a great challenge for the participants.

I think it's amazing. However, I'm stumped because there are too many choices to make as to what the Toa's history is, etc. I do think it's good though and intend to enter.

A good number of fans wanted to know about this Toa. GregF said for 4 years that he had no plans to bring this Toa up. He still has no plans. Now that the storyline might end, why not do it now? Aravagantos, I am not sure why you can't understand how a passing sentence in a book would lead to a contest. I think it was going to be done one way or another. Seeing as this won't affect the current storyline, why not?

It's lame, it sucks, and I think it was a terrible idea.

I don't know, it just seems like devoting a story contest to a random guy. Like making a story about the life of the Rahi Lesovikk tried to mercy-kill, or about the guy who wrote "My friend went to Po-Koro and all I got was this lousy rock".

They wanted to do a contest on Lein, the dead Agori who wasn't actually directly mentioned. It's fun just to take these somewhat obscure references, and expand upon them. Plus, people have been asking about this Toa for AGES, despite nothing ever actually happening. The fact that they continued to ask is a testament to the popularity of this Toa, and I'm looking forward to the entries we get.

It's nice because there really are no limits except for the fact that we gotta talk about this person's history, etc. Leaves a lot of room for the imagination. I really hope to enter...
