What Really Slammed Into Teridax's Head?

Would you have rather wanted a piece of Aqua Magna slamming into Teridax's head or Bota Magna crushing Teridax's head?

Personally, I feel that Bota Magna crushing Teridax's head is epic. Besides, Mata Nui Saga Chapter 30 AND Journey's End (Book) Chapter 10 state that Bota Magna hit Teridax. Also, it's never stated that Aqua Magna hit Teridax in the last Journey's End (comic). Sure, the piece looks bluish, but it's not specifically stated that it was Aqua Magna. I would call it... artistic license. Sure, Mata Nui Saga doesn't say Bota Magna, but it does state "jungle moon". That's pretty much what Bota Magna is. Can't be anything else.

Anyways, what are your thoughts?

Absolutely and 100% Bota Magna.

As you say, Journey's End specifies it and the MNS illustrates it very plausibly. Greg specified in his writing that it was Bota Magna, and Brian Ellis was quite obviously told to illustrate Bota Magna hitting Teridax. Michael Dorn's script specifies "Jungle moon", which can only mean Bota Magna.

One panel of the comic shows otherwise, but doesn't specify "an Aqua Magna chunk" and was likely illustrated with the artistic intent of fitting a dramatic closeup of Teridax and the projectile in the same small panel (And could easily have been miscoloured).

It's three sources of intentional canon saying Bota Magna against one source that doesn't necessarily contradict the first sources, and could easily be an error or artistic license. The three sources for Bota Magna are more widely published and advertised on every Bionicle set made, available to see by anyone with a computer.

I also get the impression from the answers Greg had given previously that he thought MNS shows Bota Magna as the same size as Teridax's head, but in actual fact it is one of the more scale accurate images we've had in a while.

Nuhrii - I don't think this is something that BZPers should vote on, Greg should decide. It's a matter of which solution conflicts the canon and official media the least, keeping things clear and constant for all fans, not what BZPers think is coolest and most epic.

Besides, Michael Dorn said it was Bota Magna, so there. :P

I prefer the chunk. The chunk would simply have blown out the Core Processor. Bota Magna would have obliterated all of Metru Nui. And I wub Metru Nui. D:

I really don't care, although I prefer the edge of the moon. The main reason being that Chewbacca was killed by a falling moon. :P

Can't we just have a heroic suicide mission involving the Turaga of Metru Nui setting off a giant nuke blow up his head?

I dunno, I just like being difficult :D

Bota Magna. I was fairly disappointed with how he died in the comic. It's like Dennis the Mennis just got out his trusty slingshot and killed him with a rock to the back of the head. But shoving somebody into a moon? A much more suited death for Teridax in my opinion.

Mata Nui's spirit.

He projected it into the core processor as Makuta was stunned, forcing his consciousness out of the way and ejecting him out of the Matoran Universe in his Matoran form, which fell and burned up in the atmosphere. The only remnant is his infected-Hau-looking Kraahkan, which lands far out in the desert. Anyone around to witness the aftermath would have thought they a heard faint laughter in the wind okay this is getting way too detailed but admit it this would have been totally and completely awesome.
