why do people sell boiled peanuts when it's HOT outside but not when it's COLD

 

i mean no one wants to eat piping hot peanuts when it's bloody NINETY degrees outside

Same reason McDonalds still put ice in their drinks, despite the fact that it's absolutely freezing outside.
