My current books I keep for another two years.

Really?! You're lucky... each year I need new books and we don't even use half of them.

 

My books, I also keep for two years, but this is the second one.

My school starts in 5 days.

Mine starts in 11 days

 

I've been so busy with school, it's taken me two days to reply to this post (school started on the 1st for me). And by "getting new books," do you refer to buying or checking out textbooks? In my curriculum, we are assigned and released textbooks on temporary loan for the duration of the relevant class. By your phrasing, it would seem you yourself must purchase the books . . .

 

As usual, enlighten me if I misunderstood

 

 

 

No, here they just send me list saying "Buy those and these" books.

 

I don't really know how they get books in other countries!
