Out of pure impulse I decided to buy the Boxor from someone living in my city. I never got around to buying the 2002 titans and I have been curious for years. I was pleasantly surprised.

 

Can we just talk about how ingenious this thing is? The gear function is one of the best in a set to date. It also feels like every piece has a use and a function within the mechanism.

 

From here on out, I am definitely going to start looking for some of the earlier sets.

honestly the boxor is one of my fave titan sets and one of my fave bionicle sets overall ... it looked cool and it had a fun function, AND it came with a mctoran

I bought it off eBay years ago and was also really impressed with the construction and quality of design. Not only is the gear system really clever, it's also well-integrated and doesn't affect the aesthetic, unlike sets like the Toa Mata, who had giant gears sticking out of their shoulders and back.
