I like the multicolored Element of Magic icon on her crown. You wouldn't think that kind of thing would lend itself to an "evil" interpretation of Twilight, but somehow it does... must be the muted colors.

 

Not sure if this is a completely original design by the artist or a crossover I'm not familiar with, but the overall aesthetic reminds me a great deal of the possessed Princess Peach from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, what with the blend of spiky, evil motifs and the frilly trim on the cape.
