Fifty-six pages of writing on one story, probably closer to fifty when you cut out parts that are in mid edit.
This has got to be my all time record.
The annoying thing is that I've pretty much ditched my first draft, wasting 26K words.
Did you see them going off to fight? Children of the barricade that didn't last the night. They were schoolboys, never held a gun, Fighting for a new world that would rise up like the sun. Where's that new world now the fighting's done?
