A Somewhat Obnoxious Wip

For round 2 of my match-up with Felix the Cat. The theme was to build a MOC with an "obnoxious color scheme" (Ie, multiple colors, which preferably somewhat clash with each other). I'm fairly happy with how this is coming along, especially for a space ship (since my prior ones weren't really any good).

Apologies for the photo, I took it at around 11PM. So I had to use my camera's flash.

Thoughts so far?

Reminds me of ChocolateFrogs's blog contest. But some random pink or yellow stuff on it to make the color scheme even better. :P

Oh, and what are those two smooth lime pieces that connect to the Metru red bits?

Yeah, Fee and I chose that theme for our second round, since we thought it would add an interesting touch to our match. I'll see if I can add some yellow, without it looking bad :)

The part came from the Ninjago Rattlecopter. It's a Lime Wedge 4 x 3 Cut Back with Cutout, Two Studs. The part number is: 4567882.

It's a pretty cool piece.

The green and red actually seem to go together pretty well there. XP

I really like the design, but I don't find the colors very striking or obnoxious. The lime and the red actually kind of compliment each other, and the large amounts of black and bits of grey dampen the scheme down a lot.

Yeah, I happen to really like red and green together, and this is no exception. Only the trans-orange parts bug me.

Thanks.

Thank you. I tried to use the trans orange bits, and the blue-violet visor as a way to add more of a clashing element to the MOC, since the lime and red did work better together than I thought. I wish I didn't have to use both light grey and black, but there was no way around it =/
