We have a light rail system that functions pretty well, but I have never been a fan of the buses. They always seem to be a pain.

 

The bus system has its moments.

I, too, have been abandoned by the bus on at least one occasion. That was the last time I ever relied on it.

I know the feels. 

The only time the bus just drove past me was when a giant horde of kids was walking through the bus stop so I guess the driver didn't really think anyone was there. Kind of a stupid assumption to make, but it is what it is.

 

I have better horror stories about the bus, like how when I used to take the bus my first couple of years in high school there was this one driver who would always stop the bus 15 feet before or after the stop. One time she stopped the bus so far back another car ran into the back of the bus. And then we all had to stand there while an incident report was filled out or whatever and we had to wait for a while for the next  bus to come. That was just the one driver, though....

Come to mother Russia, where you don't even ride the bus, the bus rides you.
