Pikmin 3 is one of the best Wii U titles out there IMO. Can't think of any others but it's my favorite game for the console save maybe Mario Kart 8. Which is also very good.

 

There's loads of games for Virtual Console too if you're looking at any game that you can download on Wii U. Just off the top of my head there's Earthbound, Super Mario 64, Golden Sun, several Mega Man games, Fire Emblem, Advance Wars.........

Actually, though, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is an amazing platformer and really worth getting.

Your list has a distinct lack of Lego City: Undercover.

 

Trust me, it's a fantastic game, and the most fun I've had with a Lego video game in years. Even if you feel burned out on all the licensed games, I think you'd get a kick out of this one.

I thought about this one after I posted. I don't own it but I've played through the majority and it's really great.

 

Rayman Legends is also pretty good if you like 2/2.5d platformers.

Both Rayman Legends and LC:U have been suggested, so I'm out of ideas. For Now. 

Get Paper Mario for the Virtual Console. It's an absolutely amazing RPG. The only negative is that Nintendo messed up the port slightly - everything is a bit darker than it was on the original console. However, it's hardly a major enough issue to ruin the game.

if you like jrpgs get xenoblade x when it comes stateside

also i recommend earthbound on VC, and if it comes out on VC, Mother 3/Earthbound 2 as well.
