THIS IS THE VOLTEX YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR

Posted by Voltex , in Life Mar 22 2013 · 148 views

To be honest I'm about 100% certain I ruined that reference, and I'm not sure why I did that, but hey, welcome to my blog of Volts. Except there is no electricity in here so whatever.
Also here is a picture of me, except good luck trying to figure out what I really look like.

PS in that left hand of mine it is a stick of dynamite and I am currently planning in my head of heads how to use it in a film as soon as possible, so any story suggestions welcome

Day I Don't Know What

Posted by Voltex , in Life Mar 12 2013 · 80 views

Trip ends tomorrow, did a waterpark yesterday, etcetera etcetera. We did a mystery dinner show tonight which was pretty cool, and very funny.

Anyway, hopefully I can return to normal time in a few days.

Sleuths Mystery Dinner was the place - it was a little cramped (I hate hate hate tiny tables), but otherwise fun. I unfortunately nailed the wrong guy, in a way. I said he did it on the orders of the guy that actually did it, so I was sort of half right I suppose? I don't really know how it's supposed to work.

I watched some "Bones" and "Castle" today, since my grandparents left us at the hotel for several hours and there was nothing else to do. One of the Bones episodes had the main character getting framed whilst having amnesia and voodoo and stuff, so that one in particular was very interesting to watch.

Islands of Adventure - DYNAMITE POPCORN! [Day 4]

Posted by Voltex , in Life Mar 09 2013 · 86 views

I bought a wand today! It is made of birch, I am going to guess 10-11 inches? long, and more of a rough cut stick than those fancy doodad wands you can buy. I'll post a picture here if I can get one. The wand shape is actually the shape I always used to pick whenever my friends and I used sticks for wands as we played Harry Potter (why I remember that detail is beyond me since it was like 8 years ago but whatever).

I really liked the Spider-Man and Harry Potter Forbidden Journey rides - I love that kind of 3D/4D special effect kinda ride when it's done well. Probably one of my favourite sort of rides.

I also enjoyed the Hulk rollercoaster - although due to a mistake by myself I ended up in the very front row, it was still awesome. Front row is always the best.

We watched the Mardi Gras parade, and I got seven of those plastic jewel necklaces you can buy at dollarama. Man, people went crazy over those!

I waited 45 minutes for a pepporoni pizza and then when other people got theirs whilst ordering after I did I rage quitted the place (after I made sure I had my pizza in hand of course, because late or not it's pizza, goodness).

I tried raspberry vanilla coke. I wish I had just raspberry though, because I've never had raspberry coke. I've had lime and cherry and vanilla and orange and all that sort of stuff, but never raspberry. Maybe I can get it tomorrow too? Doubtful.

I was soaked early on by the one river rapids ride in the world that makes sure every rider is soaked, and walked around all day in squelching, soaked shoes. Bleeeeeagh. I washed my feet for fifteen minutes when we got back to the hotel and they still feel gross. We missed a few other water rides, because I didn't feel in the mood to get soaked all over again. I'll probably try them out tomorrow or Monday if I bring a change of clothes or something.

I failed to mention it yesterday but I got a stick of dynamite that has popcorn inside yesterday in St. Augustine, so I can light it and throw it and then have popcorn. Although I must admit that the first thing that popped into my head when I saw it was "heist film prop".

Anyway that is it for today and I'll post again tomorrow.

Living at Orlando [Day 3]

Posted by Voltex , in Life Mar 08 2013 · 70 views

Day 3 of the trip.

We took an extended stop this afternoon in St. Augustine. We took a short tour around, and my brother and I spent an hour or so at this old fort thing taking pictures of stuff. Maybe if I ever get ahold of them I can share some on here.

Nothing much of interest, although disappointment - we have 3 days for 2 parks, nothing else planned, three days where we are doing nothing and have no lodgings scheduled, and then another three days of travelling. Color me disappointed - not even a water park.

2013, you find a way to make everything suck.

On the bright side of life, the place we're staying at is pretty nice and spacious. Just wish it was a little closer to Universal.

I EXPLORE THE UNIVERSE!

Posted by Voltex , in BZPower, Life, To Disney Mar 06 2013 · 87 views

I'm off to Florida today, and you're very welcome for the extended warning! I will be doing my best to get online each night, so you Mafia folk need not worry, and I will be writing up a series of journals with regards to my experiences at Universal, Legoland (pick a brick at last finally yesh), some chocolate factory, and anything else in Orlando.

Now I must teleport away and begin my adventures!

Breaking Windows and Other News

Posted by Voltex , in Life, My Little Pony Feb 18 2013 · 121 views

So I broke a window two nights ago, but nothing really happened except that we now have a window with some holes and a lot of cracks. It was actually an accident and I didn't get in trouble, so hurrah! Something actually went right for me in real life!

Because to be quite honest, 2013 sucks.

2012 was probably the greatest year of my life so far (which isn't saying much because I only remember like ten years or something if that), and it's not just that 2013 can't really measure up, but I dunno... something out there just doesn't want this year to turn out well for me. Every single thing I do seems to end up bad in some form, which isn't doing much for my procrastination troubles.

Also, I'd like to say that I really enjoyed the My Little Pony Season 3 finale, and I think there should be more musically oriented episodes.

That's all, folks.

The Math I Can Do: 52 Books

Posted by Voltex , in Life Feb 13 2013 · 112 views

1 Year = 52 Weeks + 52 Books

I decided to attempt the challenge for myself, and am about a third of the way through Tolkien's The Two Towers as we speak. The following novels that I haven't read are on my to-read list this year:

-Animal Farm
-The Return of the King (obviously)
-Ender's Game
-The Great Gatsby
[edit]-Les Miserables

Which isn't that many, so I'm here to ask you all to throw the 1001 books that you all must combined know of that I can't remember at this specific moment in time, and one by one, I will hunt them all down.
I believe I'm about 10-12 books done so far, which is good. I'm hoping to get a good head start by June, because I won't have time to read anything during the summer and then school in September promises to chain me to a wall and force feed me textbooks.

Speaking of school, I was just assigned the task of writing a novella in my Writer's Craft class. >:]
iBrow will win this. I always write my best when I'm forced to write, and I have a rather neat idea in mind. Perhaps I'll even let some of you read it, because I'll need proof readers of course.

Math Makes My Thinker Box Hurt

Posted by Voltex , in Life Feb 11 2013 · 93 views

If you get what I'm attempting to reference with that title, splendid!

Anyway, the last time I did a math class was over a year ago, and I was never splendid with it in the first place (English is almost literally where I need to dump all of my poor eggs), so it's tough already and we're only still reviewing that class!

Imma fail math at some point in my life. .__.

My Eyeballs Burn

Posted by Voltex , in BZPower, Life, Film/Shows, My Little Pony, Video Games Feb 10 2013 · 115 views

Now that you have been drawn in by that excellent title, let us move onto the matter at hand, which, while it did involve the use of my eyes, would be rather hard pressed to make them burn.

I'd just like to mention that for my occupation as an "eyebrow" (not gonna lie; it feels weird to type it correctly), I have a lot to say sometimes.
But then I remember that right now I have my display name on a character that refused to stop singing and talking when he'd been shot in the chest, so you know, it all works out.

What does this entry mean? Well to be honest, I don't know. An eyebrow just talks sometimes because it wishes to be heard. (Actually it's more because the eyebrow wishes to speak and does not care if he is heard or not).

What I need right now is some Team Fortress 2.

I'll get it in about... hmm... six, seven, maybe eight or nine months! Yeeaah. B-)
It's cooool, folks.

Also I heard that a certain Twilight Sparkle was becoming a winged unicorn and that people were upset. I think that's cool too folks. B-)

I'm outta here! There be other power business in the bionicle zone to attend to!

IBROOOOOW... AWAAAAAAAAY!

Gold Wii Remote

Posted by Voltex , in Life Jan 20 2013 · 155 views

Does anyone have one that they'd be willing to sell? The one that came in that Skyward Sword bundle pack. If you do, just comment below and I can shoot you a pm.

Or, alternatively, if anyone has seen one online that hasn't been put up for 200 dollars (I saw one going for 66, but didn't have time to go for it), that'd be cool too.
