Immunization Shots

Voltex

I going down to Jamaica on a mission trip during the March Break, so I had to get some shots today. I managed to get out of two or three (thank goodness), but I still had to get Typhoid, Hep. A part 1, and the standard flu shot.

Hep A and flu(I think) in the left, Typhoid(?) in the right.

Suffice it to say that my left arm is perfectly fine while my right arm is in typical pain. Why can things not be reversed...

I had this obscure lung node thing several years back and had to have a huge needle pump something in me. Then I went into this big machine and got a CT scan. Not a CAT scan, no, a CT scan. Yeah.

Oh, and I got to have two or three vials of blood taken, which is always fun.

@Burnmad: If I had to get all that, I think I'd probably die from a heart attack.

@Waffles: Well... it's sort of a religious thing, so I don't think I'm allowed to go into detail.

OHOHOH

I got this huge thing with twelve needles that was really itchy on my forearm for an allergy test!

And I got this weird shot to check for TB...

GOOD TIMES

I believe I got that type of alllergy test too, but those needles weren't the same; they were more just to prick you, instead of going clean through your arm.

Odd. I had to get an allergy test on my back, although that one was supposed to basically be all-encompassing, so maybe yours was more specific.

I believe the one I took was on both arms, twelve being common plants and the other being common foods. IT was also just a test to see if I was anaphylactically allergic to any of them.
