Movies I Should See in 2013

So I'm trying to create a list of the ten films I'm looking forward to most in 2013... the problem is... I only know like, ten period, and I know for certain that Thor: The Dark World is not what I'm waiting for. Will I see it? Probably. But I'm not really anticipating it.

So I am asking you all for movies that you've heard of, know all about, or seen the trailers for that you're looking forward to. Then I will watch their trailers and stuff, and then I can decide what I want to watch.

The movies I know about in my small little side dimension are as follows (what I can remember at this exact moment, at least):

-Star Trek Into Darkness

-Iron Man 3

-The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

-The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

-Thor: The Dark World

-White House Down

-Frozen

-Monsters University

-Man of Steel

-World War Z

-The Hangover III

-Something that is bugging me because I was looking forward to it but cannot remember, so clearly I wasn't looking forward to it much

Needless to say, right now this is a pretty stupid list so far, so let's change that! Let us make me... well... less me and more movie? I got nothing.

Pacific Rim.

You know why?

Because EVA/Gundam/lots and lots of other giant mech homages.

Also giant robots vs. giant monsters. :DDDDD

I have no idea what kind of movies you like, but The Counselor and Twelve Years a Slave are intriguing to me based entirely on the cast and who the filmmakers are. No trailers for them yet, but given the talent involved I fail to see how they could possibly be bad. Well, at least Twelve Years. Some will debate whether or not Ridley Scott still possesses his talent.

Also Frozen, FTW!

I would suggest The Hobbit and Star Trek. Even if they are only half as good as the previous Hobbit and Star Trek movies then they will be pretty good. Monsters University and the Thor and Iron Man movies ahold also be worth seeing.

:kaukau: Man of Steel. I wheep for what could be the symbolic loss of all innocence in the superhero genre, though it hasn't come out yet, so my suspicions aren't completely confirmed yet. Hopefully it takes a tough case and makes it, which is good, though I'm still mad they're abandoning a ton of classic stuff, and I hope people understand that this is just a variant of Superman and don't treat it like the second coming of Christopher Reeve.

End of nerd rant.
