Well, well! Here we are in the third round, and every single matchup is a question. Samus once again emerged victorious over Link, barely edging out the green hatted hero, while Luigi, Bowser, and Fox all decimated their Round 2 opponents.
Now the question remains - will Luigi be the one to finally topple Samus from the throne, or will the bounty hunter rise once more to the Final 4? It might be his year, but Luigi has one heck of a job ahead of himself. Kirby and Ridley are both evenly matched, but the real questions lie on the other side of the bracket. After being defeated by Mega Man in the first round last time, Fox has been on an amazing winning streak, while Bowser has slammed two different Pokemon characters to make it this far - both have done quite well, but it's up in the air over who could win. Should Bowser win, however, one side of the bracket will be dominated by villains, and that could open up an opportunity for a good vs. evil final round, or perhaps a Luigi vs. Bowser one?
