Hades is an amazing villain character and absolutely hilariously evil, but Luigi has been in many, many more games and deserves this.

One does have to admit that Hades has a wicked cool official art piece, though. I wanna use that for everything. =P

I don't see a series-specific thing occuring; action and fighting characters are both themes Burnmad and I have discussed.

Aw... I was rooting for hades...

We should do a generall fictional character one. That would be awesome. I'd host one in my blog but I doubt it would get the attention it needed.

I think the next theme should be Playstation.. (can't wait to see what characters people suggest)

I personally don't think there should be any theme whatsoever, as the variety can be astounding. Though if I had to choose, I guess characters from platformers or action-adventure games.

 

Also, I guess I should be happy that Hades made it all the way to the finals. Last round, it was all main characters. =P

Hades performed admirably, considering his status as a villain in a franchise that, while a cult favorite, would not normally compete with the likes of Mario and Pokemon.

 

As for themes - I believe I have settled on the theme for the third one (whenever it happens), and rest assured you shall not be quite so "limited" as you were this tournament.
