Announcing BIONIFIGHT ULTIMATE: DRIFT FORCE

Posted by Lucina , in BZPower Aug 29 2014 · 496 views

It all began with Bionifight in 2007. Then came Bionifight 2: Madness Returns! in 2011, followed by Bionifight 3: Madness Returns Again! and Bionifight 4: Hyper Fighting, both also released in that same year. The first three, hosted by Fighty (with help from myself for the latter two) as well as the fourth, hosted just by me, are now referred to as "classic" Bionifight.

In January of this year, Bionifight Ultimate was released. It was a game changer in every respect; Ultimate Weapons replaced Special Weapons (until the latter were added back in later), the round structure was modified, and perhaps the biggest addition of all: fan created content. Bionifight Ultimate took every single issue with the older games and fixed, changed, or removed what it had to. It was, in essence, a reboot of the series; and it is for that reason that this game is titled as a sequel to Bionifight Ultimate without reference to the others.

The earliest concepts for this game had it split into two topics as Bionifight 6 Ultimate and Bionifight 6 Classic, with the former continuing the previous game and the latter bringing back what had not been seen since Bionifight 4: Hyper Fighting. But then I realized that to divide the two would, in fact, be a step backwards - if I was to bring more classic elements back, they needed to be integrated into what I had already set in place. Thus I set about creating my third addition to the Bionifight franchise, and what I came up with was Bionifight Ultimate: Drift Force. It fixes every single issue that was present in Bionifight Ultimate, while retaining what worked and, of course, adding a few new things. You'll notice far less clutter from the start with this game - and that fan created content, which contributed to much of the cluttered and overcomplicated nature of Bionifight Ultimate, has been streamlined.
So here we are - the sixth game in the Bionifight seies as a whole, and the second entry in the Bionifight Ultimate reboot. I hope you enjoy - and if you're wondering why I chose the subtitle of Drift Force... well, if you think back to why I first named Bionifight Ultimate, you might have already guessed. But even if you haven't, all you need to do is look below.

Member Name: Ehksidian
Weapon: The totally-not-3D Maneuver gear, a setup of 2 hip-mounted boxes, equipped with multiple retractable and retrievable (But not weaponizable) harpoons, and a pair of two swords which are used to launch/retract said harpoons. Note: This does, in fact, count as one weapon. If one blade is, say, knocked out of his hand, then the other one cannot be used, and neither can the harpoons for a getaway.
Totally not ripped from AoT because that's impossible hahaha
Power: The ability to create hardlight projectiles and objects-Cannot have multiple objects at once, and requires at least some preparation in order to use them effectively.
Appearance: Normal-sized Toa, with gold and white armor all along the body. Wears a mask shaped like an Avohkii but isn't actually one.

Weapon: The Enodia (Check this link for what it is exactly)The enodia is capable of firing .50 Alaskan caliber bullets in rapid succession with next to no recoil, though the more shots fired in rapid succession the more powerful the recoil becomes. It is also capable of shifting into a full on staff like mode for close range-combat.
Power: Energy Manipulation. The ability to give physical form to energy, whether for offensive or defensive purposes. Any energy constructs can be broken given enough force.
Appearance:  This guy, Lean yet packing muscle. Sometimes dons a tophat and/or a cane. A full gallery.

Ultimate Weapon(s): Shield of Voltex: this shield will protects the user from all Ultimate Weapon attacks, and can itself be used to deal ten damage to an opponent

Why mess with what works? And I am so freakin excited for this.

(P.S: .50 Alaskan caliber bullets are a real thing.)

Please shut down Luroka's OP mag powers

Also, question: Can my Ultimate Weapon be used as a normal weapon outside of its Ultimate functionality? And if so, would I have to use that as my weapon, or would I be able to add another one?

Luroka approved, but I will be watching very closely and reserve the right to make you change your power at any point. Voxumo also approved. You can also bring your shield/sword ultimate weapon with you, as can Chro if he joins.

Do i need to add the ultimate weapon, the shield of voltex, to my profile?

    • 0
Yes please. Due to some modifications of the game its powers might alter somewhat, but I'm only saying that because I don't remember what it did =P

To Chro: Your ultimate weapon can be used as an additional weapon outside of its ultimate capabilities, yes. It'll be more clear when the game releases.

"Now, the wielder of both of these tools would, for lack of a better term, be able to match me in strength," Voltex told them. "But alas, each of you will have only one. On my left is the Shield of Voltex - this shield will protect you from all Ultimate Weapon attacks, and can itself be used to deal ten damage to an opponent."

Taken from the topic. And also never did ask this but it occured to me, Can the shield of voltex... just be used as a regular old shield as well?

Would I be allowed to have a power that enabled me to (very gradually) regenerate my own health?

    • 0

Does this mean I can add in The One Ring to my profile?
