I've just started playing it- it's a tactical turn based strategy with heavy consequences for dying. As well, it has a really interesting overworld/base that I hope gets taken full advantage of because man. it's cool.

 

I'm liking it a lot! (plus it seems to be the only game that can run on this computer. Which is weird, but w/e)

Fricking awesome.

 

You can kinda game out the permadeath thing by saving often and reloading saves if you choose. But beyond that it's a frantic game that's heavily tactical and often quite consequential - there is nothing more frustrating than getting an attack while most of your A-Team is out of commission. 

 

On an aesthetic level, I love having the diverse soldiers; my A-Team had a female Japanese Assault trooper (Samurai), a male Nigerian Support (Roadblock), a male Argentinian Heavy (Goose), female American Sniper (One Shot), female Israeli Sniper (Seraph), and a male German Heavy (Blondie). And the nicknames you can give them make them that much more unique.

 

It's awesome, really. Played it at the start of this past summer and am itching at a chance to go back to it.
