New Mouse

I bought the Razer DeathAdder Chroma today (I didn't buy it for any particular reason other than that it was the cheapest Razer mouse in the store). I'm not really sure that the two buttons on the side will be enough; I'd rather three so that I can optimize it for Team Fortress 2, but for now it will do fine.

There was one with six buttons on the side that I really wanted, but that one was like 40 dollars more and I was all like "NOPE"

Next step is a headset with a microphone - I saw one at the store that I almost bought but it's for sale online for about $40 instead of the usual $70, so I'll probably be ordering it

Anyway, that's all for now

As far as headsets go, the Logitech h800 (the one I have) is really great. Wireless USB and Bluetooth are just two of the wonderful features it has.

Also, trackball mouse master race

It's all well and good until Ehks knocks it off the desk. :P

(I use laptop touchpad and hi-tech earbuds, but I'm not part of the "advanced gaming" crowd. Plus no money.)

I use laptop touchpad

ew.

I do clean the thing.

If there's an internet reference I'm missing, I don't know about it. But I'm left-handed and using a touchpad on my laptop is much easier for most things. Except games where I have to aim using it. Results are about what you would expect.

I think it's just that touchpads aren't usually seen as very comfortable or helpful in general.

I used to use my laptop's touchpad as well, though. Never had much of a problem with it except when I tried to draw with it...(drawing with a mouse is tough enough so one can imagine...) That is, until it died. This blasted computer is falling to pieces.
