soul eater
So I'm coming back to watching Soul Eater Not! after more than a year and apparently people are still angry because it turns out Soul Eater Not! is...not Soul Eater.

It's like, in the title. I don't get people sometimes. Or most times.

I think I may like Kamen Rider Ghost's Newton form a little too much.

Yesterday I had the first surgery of my life. It was a septoplasty to correct some respiratory problems I've had for a while due to a deviated nasal septum. It's a pretty minor and simple procedure so it didn't take very long, and the recovery period should be pretty short. Still, it was my first.

I had always wondered what the deal was with hospital gowns, ivs, anesthesia. I guess I know now what the deal with that stuff is. It sure is stuff. Some rather interesting new experiences here.

And yet my biggest takeaway from the whole procedure right now is a diabolical sore throat (from the breathing tube they had to use during the surgery, apparently? although the fact that i was already developing one due to regular sickness probably didn't help). Thing just won't go away. Oh, and I also have my nose all taped up and have gauze taped to my nostrils for all this excess blood and stuff. Guess I also have that.

I've now apparently spent seven years of mine here! That is quite a lot of years. As a reward I now get to bear a decapitated Toa head in my posts. It is only right.
