So I'm Sixteen Today

I don't feel any different. Older, maybe, but not different.

For my birthday thus far, I've been playing the Be a Pro mode on NHL 09. Later today I'll be going to places like GameStop and Barnes & Noble for birthday purchases. Hopefully after the shopping I'll have time to finally watch Iron Man, perhaps while enjoying some birthday apple pie.

A closing thought:

I'M FINALLY OLD ENOUGH TO GET A LEARNER'S PERMIT! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

In New Jersey, sixteen years is the minimum age at which to attain a permit. I believe this age limit, shared with at least a few other states, is the oldest in the U.S.A.

Windrider: I have three reasons for doing so:

1. New Jersey has the highest property taxes in the U.S.A. and gets one of the lowest amounts of money back from the federal government.

2. The high age limit for earning a learner's permit.

3. My parents call New Jersey "The Land of No Right Turns" -- and it's true.

Marvel: I'd drive safe if I were actually getting my learner's permit. But, no, the fact that I could get it if I were allowed will have to do for now. :P
