Lego Lord Of The Rings

Is anyone else geeking out over this news? I bet the video game will be awesome, and I'm intrigued to see what Lord of the Rings sets are made.

EDIT: Huh, I translated the following as there being a video game:

In late 2012, LEGO THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY will give fans of all ages a chance to build and play out the fantastical story and new characters of the legendary Middle-earth adventures depicted in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson, slated to premiere December 14, 2012.

Perhaps not. But a video game would still be awesome.

I wouldn't call myself the world's biggest fan of Lord of the Rings, but I am interested in seeing how this turns out set-wise.

I want to know if the mentioned 'collectible minifigures' are different from regular minifigures.

Also I don't think the press release said there would be a video game.

EDIT: Maybe you're right. I immediately thought that line referred to the line of sets, but I assume the line-up of Hobbit sets will be released around summer, not late 2012. Although, at the same time, if there were a video game I imagine they would be a bit less ambiguous about it.

With a name like LEGOlas, there was no way that there couldn't be a Lord of the Rings line of lego sets.
