Guitar

I had my first guitar lesson today. I now have a diagram of all the open string notes, know the technique behind playing notes, and know how to play on the uppermost string an open E, F, F#, and G.

However, there's a problem. When I play the strings...

They.

Keep.

Buzzing.

Sounds about right. As you go on, you'll learn how to get rid of that. I think it has to do with whether the strings are tightly pressed against the frets, otherwise the slight touch of the fret with the string will cause an incomplete node at the fret, and hence the buzzing.

But that's just a guess from my experience.
