Headaches And Animal Farms

Posted by Aderia , Mar 08 2011 · 35 views

Misc.
Or rather, things that give me headaches...

-Math: Algebra I in particular
-Rat dogs: Yappy ones belong in microwave ovens
-Listening to my iPod too loud: it's a bad idea, but i'm guilty anyways. o.O go figure

List subject to expansion.

I just felt the need to share that.

On another note, does anybody know what the book "Animal Farm" is generally about? We're supposed to be reading it after we finish Tale of Two Cities, and idk whether to be genuinely excited, or force a grin and try not to cry.

It's a political satire. A Tale of Two Cities eh? How's that working for you?

It's the best book that ever existed. wub.gif

It's an allegorical book about the rise of the Soviet Union.

Basically, some animals who live on a farm in the English countryside (representing the working class) decide that they are tired of being abused and overthrow the farmer (who represents the capitalists).

And if you know your history you should know how this goes.

It's a very good book.

Thank you. You have seriously changed my perspective on life. I feel more complete now that-

hrmm, it doesn't sound too bad, really, if you put it simply like that. But knowing my teacher, we'll have a whole tree or two of a packet to do, so that kinda ruins it...

It's a very good book, regardless of the amount of paperwork and packets teachers try to tag onto it.

We had to read that (animal farm) last year. It was interesting. I thought it would be horrible, but turned out to be really good.
