Bziii: Mata Nui's Military-Establishment

Franco

Question, how much of the Mata-Nuian forces have been established? We have spoken about relatively specialized squadrons in the Gukko Force, Guard, Sanctum, and Ussalry but what about the regular troops.

Establish forces here.

Excuse me, guys. Hate to cut in on this lovely discussion and all, but a query: Do you wish for me to make separate sections for each force and each area of info on them (history structure tactics etc.)?

@Bio yeah we're definitely going to change it.

As for the Sanctum Guard, so far, I've made reference to a more militarized arm, and a more police-esque arm.

In response to this I've always felt that the Sanctum should have some kind of scouting unit. After all Ko Matoran blend in with their drifts real well, and there is the whole quiet thing.

Sanctum Police for the police?

Ko-Koro Guard for the normal military?

When it comes to military organizations I'm not that creative.

Also it'd be great if Francis could compile everything we determine here into the original blog post.

I'm tempted to start calling the Po-Koro guards "The Desert Legion" and have them all have funny hats and French accents.

I agree.

Also. I just finished reading through the original write-up for the Marines, and I don't know that there is anything there we want to keep. Anyone disagree?

I don't care how much you want to butcher of the Marines.

I don't like the word 'Legion', It implies a huge army for what is really a specialized unit. Maybe Riders, Warriors, Guard, Calvary, or Squadron?

I like the Footmen, or the Desert Legion for the Po-Matoran army.

This seems to be what we have so far with the names...

One thing I noted that might work as the Ko-Koro scouting force is the 'Arctic Watch'. Nane works decently well, and not much about them was specified.
