War Horse

Posted by Shiny Chariot , Jan 08 2012 · 102 views

I must say War Horse was of the most depressing movies I've ever seen. I don't want to spoil the movie, but a lot of main characters died and these characters weren't like redshirt army soldiers. Oh no you connected to them in their moments of screen time. I'm not War Horse was a bad movie far from it. The redeeming moment of the movie was the end I almost started crying (which a movie hasn't made me do since Toy Story 3). It did have its funny moments one scene involves two soldiers (one English and one German) in no Man's land. That scene had a lot of funny moments. In short I recommend War Horse as a good movie but please bring some tissues.

It is also worth noting that I am now a Premier Outstanding BZP citizen. Now my username will be in orange now. If it had been blue I could change my name to the Great and Powerful Trixe and say I was her. But that would require work which to be honest I don't think I could handle.

I liked how they didn't consider any side the good guys or bad guys, but showed war as the antagonist.

^ See, this is what I was hoping to see in the movie. But with how the Germans were portrayed as almost heartless thieves, it was hard not to see them as an antagonist.

Still liked the movie, though.

That horse would have been cut into pieces if it really got caught on all that barb wire.
